Turning Facility

Crankshafts are manufactured using both Conventional & latest techniques. Crankshafts are considered complex parts to be manufactured but developed using a simple Centre Lathe. The machining process is controlled using human skills. With the change in technology, systems have changed to CNC Turning Centres with the latest CNC system.

Grinding

Grinding is one of the advanced metal-cutting techniques. Crankshaft grinding is done using manual skill & latest technology. CNC grinders have the latest operating systems which help in controlling the process within control. The Surface finish achieved in grinding is Ra=0.30µm – 80µm without any fouls, cracks, chatter marks, vibrations, etc. The process capability achieved on both the setups is more than 2.000 (i.e., Cp, Cpk>2.000).
